Pool Tournament

Nine-ball, we called it

For those who do not know what is Nine-ball, now this is it. The game is played on a pocket billiards table with six pockets and with ten balls. The cue ball, which is the solid shade of white and may be spotted in some tournaments, is struck to hit one or more of the other nine balls, the object balls, each of which is distinctly solored and numbered 1 through 9. The object of the game is to legally pocket the 9-ball.

I've entered tournament once last year at Kampar and i've been defected halfway. Well, i was entering girls pool tournament. But this year, no more girls tournament ! OMG, which is a sad news for me. I've entering to the pool tournament this year with all of them are men !! Yes, and i've successfully won a guy at the 1st round ! Leading 4 and he was only 1, which makes me so excited. My HIM sitting beside giving me support. 

The most exciting part is i've won a guy and proved to bystander that not only guys can play pool or snooker, WE, women too ! And i wish to tell something to those guys at Kampar. Dont ever thought that you know a single little skill on pool and you can just tackle any girls with it. I felt annoyed when i saw a bunch of people 'playing' pool. Try imagine there are at least 5 to 8 people holding cues and surrounding the pool table. This is not right at all for me.

Not offence, but for me, play pool just need 2 persons per table. This we only can enjoy the game. Just my personal opinion, no offence to all those people i've mentioned above.

Anyway, although me and him had some emergency need to walk-away halfway from the tournament, but a competition is not a competition for me. The most important is the process, which most important is that we able to enjoy it. And i was quite enjoyed the game.

Red Ear Slider

We've got ourselves a pair of Red Ear Slider, turtle.

One active little girl and another lazy sleepy little boy

Red-eared slider get their name from the distinctive red patch of skin around their ears. The 'slider' part of their name comes from their ability to slide off rocks and logs and into the water quickly. This species was previously known as Troost's turtle in honor of an American herpetologist. 'Trachemys scripta troostii' is now the scientific name for another subspecies, the Cumberland slider. I guess all those scientific name would never really exist in my world, and hell it took me maybe weeks to really just remember a single scientific name for them. And it takes me minutes to just forgotten about it. lol =) I only remember they are my cute little one.

Most Red-eared slider turtle you see in a pet shop only measure around maybe 5 cm? But they can easily get twice or more that size in a matter of years. This is a problem for many slider owner, who do not realize that that little aquarium they got with their turtle wont be able to hold the adult turtle. as a result, there are many turtle are released back into the wild by ignorant owners. Most of the red-eared sliders do not survive a release like this, as they were raised in a tank and are unprepared for dealing with life in the wild. So if any of you planning to get a pet turtle, please think twice and think further. Turtle will get bigger in size in the future. But i guess some owners were just being impulsive at that particular moment without think twice. In the end who suffer? The poor little turtle that they once so happy of having it.

Turtle are reptiles and cold-blooded, so they must rely on external heat sources for warmth. They will bank in sunlight, and in the wild, burrow down into the earth to hibernate in winter, which in Malaysia here we dont have winter seasons, but still we need to keep warmth for them. The three main concerns in keeping a red-eared slider healthy are warmth, clean water, and proper diet. Properly caring for a turtle is more complicated than most people think. I used to think this way, turtle is just something so durable, what i meant was they are supposed to be long-lived animals, how could possibly they died easily. =) 

Well, i've corrected my thoughts. An adult, not a child, must take care primary responsibility for maintaining and cleaning the housing, feeding and monitoring the turtle for any signs of illness.

For those who dont like turtles, for your information, sometimes they can be very cute as well. =)

LOL. Now here comes a question, why women are always smaller than men? Well, i dont have the answer but i did found something. =)

Abstract:

There are large variations of size among humans but in all populations, men are larger on average than women. For most biologists this fact can be easily explained by the same processes that explain the  size dimorphism in large mammals in general and in apes in particular. Due to fights between males for the possession of females, sexual selection has favoured bigger males. Indeed, this factor certainly explains why males are selected for being large but lets aside the question of selection on the female side. Actually, it has been shown that larger females are also favoured by natural selection. This is particularly relevant for women because their probability of dying when giving birth is then reduced. The common view that size dimorphism in  humans results from the fact that the advantage of being big is  stronger for men than for women is challenged by another hypothesis, namely that the difference results from a difference of cost rather than from a difference of benefits. The cost of being big would be higher in women simply because, under gender hierarchical regimes found in all cultures, men are allocated the best food. The interaction between evolutionary forces and cultural practices could then lead to this disadaptive situation.

Looking to the Bright side

Seriously Sick.

Vomited for few days, fever, shivering...Well, it all seems not good at all. Quite suffering, honestly. I've been lying on bed for almost 2 days? Plus minus i would say.

Thank you. And yes, is YOU. The one who middle of the night will sudden awake and ask me feeling good or not, and sudden fall back to sleep like a big baby, or maybe a giant baby. =) The one who brought me for doctor. The one who so fierce, tell me this cannot eat that cannot eat. =( But still, you are the best <3 ever. =)

Anyway, just a short random post since i'm so free now and just realized it's been ages i never really update my blog.

I'm still me

Years after that, Now i'm doing this

lol, taken an hour ago.

I looked somehow different. I've no longer able to capture photos like how i did. For these years, i've passed through a lot of challenges which i prefer to called it 'road blocks'. Along the road, i saw a bunch of stuffs happening around, i've experienced a lot and most important is still whether i able to learn something in return or not. The year teach much which the days never knew. Only when the time comes, you will finally realized that you've learnt something valuable. 

Growing up is never easy. You hold on to things that were. You wonder what's to come. Maybe sudden someday, you knew it was time to let go of what had been and look ahead to what would be. Other days, New days, or Days to come. The thing is, you dont have to hate for getting older. You just had to forgive yourself....for growing up.

One thing for sure, i'm still me.


I'm happy with my life now and i appreciate the everyday that you're giving me.

The Three Musketeers

Orlando Bloom

Someone that i was so admire during the times of The Lord of The Rings

And now still so attracted to him. I can recognize him from this movie 'The Three Musketeers', but my HIM thought it was somebody else. Anyway, nice movie. Very nice. I would have given 8 or 9 out of 10. Personally, this movie suits me very well, i prefer this kind of movies. Somehow, Bloom's images still recalling in my mind. One for all, and all for Orlando Bloom's mustache and pompadour. Okey, that's not the way the famour creed goes, but it's hard not to get excited over Bloom's fantastic costuming. At least until my Bay also unable to recognize him from the cast. *smile*

Well, thumbs up for the cast. Really a nice movie.

Looking into your eyes inspires me to forget all my sorrows and all my pains start to heal. all this happiness i have with me is just because of you being very kind to me.

Actually this is quite personal matters but yet i still wish to post here publicly. I wanted to tell everyone that i love you so much. Do you know that? I never knew the depths of love. It's because of you that i became familiar with love.

After yesterday's incidence, you make me feel brand new. Suddenly you made me feel i'm so important to you. You make me feel safe whenever whatever you will be here with me, just beside me. How silly am i that after yesterday only i realized how important i can be for you. Silly right?

Being deeply cared by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage. To be brave is to love someone unconditionally, without expecting anything in return. To just give. That takes courage, because we dont want to fall on our faces or leave ourselves open to hurt. Ever heard of this? You gave me courage for every difficulties every obstructions we faced. You gave me strength on everything, merely everything. So dont underestimated your power okey? =) 

Some people said the way to love anything is to realize that it might be lost. Yes, that is why i love you so much. Mainly is because of i am afraid of losing you. I love when you hugging me and told me that you unable to let me go and the same goes to me. I love when you told me you love me. I love when you pull me into your warm hug when i'm sad. I love your care.

Sorry for making you worried yesterday and came for me. =) Well, details i definitely wont exposed too much. Just want to tell the world how much i love you and grateful with you. And i know you love me so much too.

Barber Shop

Went barber shop with my Bay.

Obviously not me.

Wondering why barber shop only for guys.

The sharp, steel barber sheers lay unattended on the tabletop. Bottles of hair cream arranged neatly besides it. Several plastic combs bunched loosely in a container. Medium sized- posters of men sporting short hair cuts were pasted symmetrically on the walls, decorating the barber shop. There were even new ones of famous Bollywood heartthrobs. This is how a typical barber shop is.

Seriously, i've passed by many barber shop but never really walk in to any of these. Well, barber shop is only for guys, why would i be there? *lol* Wondering why barber shop is only for male but not female. Here's why. A barber is abstracted from the Latin 'barba', meaning beard. They are someone whose occupation is to cut any type of hair and to shave or trim the beards of men. The place of work of a barber is generally called barbershop instead of saloon. And why would female owns beard? lol.

I just noticed that barbershop has a long history which i wont even touch any of that topic here. lol. I only know that 1880's to the 1940's were the golden age for barbershops. Where back then there wasnt any saloon or beauty saloon, spa and much more. Again, barbershop makes the difference by providing the environment for men only.

My Bay said barbershop gave him the perfect shave, which lasted much longer than his shave. Perfect shave is what all men strive for every morning when they bring their razor up their chin and is an effortless shave that's baby smooth and without any of the usual skin irritation, redness and burning sensation most guys seem to feel is par for the course when it comes to shaving. Why so hard to achieve? Proper shaving has become a lost art. *lol* Nowadays it became more about cheap and disposable razors. It also became brainless routine to rush through in the morning without even thinking about it. How patience a man can be everyday to shave properly? *smile*

Now only i realized this, the shaving brush. And for me it looks like make up equipment for girls. *lol* Well, men do need it too. But what is the function of this? Why is it so important? How to use it? How does it work? All inside this link ---Click it--- . Well nowadays men only use hand to wipe all the shaving creams on their chin, who will be still using this? None i guess.

Well, nice experience in the barbershop, especially the stunning massage part. *lol, makes me stunned for few seconds* Oh, never forget to mention, the services are quite cheap. And what's wrong for entering a cheap, simple and crude barbershop but provides the perfect shave that every men hungering? Try it. =)
