Showing How I Did It

Okay, so I’m back and let’s talk about ‘makeup’!

Make up is certainly not necessary for our health or safety, so why has it become the norm for women of all ages? Well, when women wore makeup gave the impression of being more competent, trustworthy, and intelligent than when they did not. Of course, confidence and self-esteem play a role in this, right? A woman who thinks she looks good and is proud of her appearance will give off a stronger and more commanding vibe, certainly.

Well, I’m going to make a small confession. I don’t use foundation or BB cream on my face for my daily makeup to work. Laziness has driven me to this. Except for special occasions, let me show everyone how I put on my makeup. Very simple & fast!!

  •  I’ll put on my contact lens, of course. Bear in mind that it is just a normal lens, no doll eyes lens or color lens. I don’t fancy those products. Be safety concern even if I wanted to look prettier, right?

  •             Put on eyelashes. Don’t ever choose those in deep black color as it will not looked natural.  Unless you are preparing for a photo shoot, otherwise, go for brownish eyelashes!! Whereas the glue, don’t ever think of saving money to go for cheapskate product (anyway you’re going to remove it). You will regret for doing that. The best ever are those Japan products (glue, of course).

  •       You may found it weird that I did it reversely.  Normal women put on eyeliner or eye shadow before they proceed to eyelashes. Well, I just simply don’t like to make my glue dirty (turned black). At the end of the day, if you’re able to cover it back well with eyeliner or eye shadow, I think there is not a big issue at all!!

  •          Eyebrow time!! So, which color to choose? I personally prefer brown. Not forget to mention, I’m red head, so what else suits me? Moreover, I always believe brown makes people look fairer & natural.

Owh, by the way, I don’t have any eyebrow makeup kit. I just simply use normal brown eye shadow to touch up a bit. Honestly, you don’t need to purposely spend an amount of money to purchase those kits. Eye shadow will do it perfectly!!

  •         Blush Blush Blush. Introducing wax blush. I don’t prefer blush powder. Go for Elianto’s wax blush.  I don’t know whether it is still selling in the market or not. But one small bottle can last me for very long. Longer than you can imagine. One advantage of it, looks natural! Meant it all, right?

Remember , apply a little bit on your nose too. Try it but not too much. Just a little bit will do the magic.

Taadaa~

So, this is how I collect my confidence daily. Not in the correct method though. Well girls, pick up a blush today & show the world we can be much prettier, confidence and attractive. Go !!

Cheers readers.

Be Wise

Well time flies, and it's May of 2013. Looking back, it's been months i haven't updated a single post in here.
Pretty busy with my life lately. Have moved on a step ahead in my life. I'm back in Perai starting a brand new life with him. When hoping everything could went well, unknowing that i'm 25 years old this year. And who said age is the biggest secret of a woman? I'm glad to tell that i had grown a year older. I certainly do not know am i wiser, but do hope for maturity.
Maturity? I found some interesting articles to share.
What You Need To Know?? Maturity comes from living your life with deliberateness.Give back to your family and friends. Don't just float alongside them.Above all, know yourself. Work on your weaknesses and know your strengths.
"Accept blame as readily as you do credit."
Every family has one: a perpetually young, meandering soul who refuses to grow up and get his or her life together. In the new comedy My Idiot Brother, the man-child is embodied by Paul Rudd, who plays a naive, nonconformist hippie recently released from jail for selling pot to an undercover officer. Rudd’s sometimes maddening but always endearing character is thrust into the Manhattan lives of his three more successful sisters. They can barely tolerate his freewheeling ways, but end up learning a lot about themselves and each other by the time the lights come on and the curtain descends. But this is the movies. In real life, immature men aren’t looked so kindly upon, especially by their family, who eventually grow weary of supporting someone who should have had their life together long, long ago.
If you happen to find yourself still crashing at mom and dad’s, and asking your siblings for munchie money, here are 17 steps for becoming a mature man and leaving the ranks of idiot brothers worldwide.
Social Factors
1- Accept Responsibility
Responsibility is the foundation of character and integrity. Learn to accept responsibility for your actions, without any excuses. Accept blame as readily as you do credit. Be prepared for the consequences of your decisions and make the right ones so as to minimize those occasions where you must shoulder responsibility. For instance, cut out potentially dangerous behavior such as speeding, or driving after a few drinks.
2- Control Your Emotions
An inability to rein your emotions can produce problems in both your personal and professional life. Rather than suppressing your feelings, work on venting them while controlling your words and actions. For example, if someone lashes out at you in anger, don't respond in kind. Instead, remain calm and cool -- you'll be the better man for it.
3- Give Back
Your successes have a lot to do with help you received along the way. So return the favor and help out others. If you can afford to, donate money to a charity, church or any other worthwhile organization. If money is short, donate your time by volunteering for a charity or mentoring a child.
4- Spend Time With Family & Friends
Be sure to visit your relatives often. If you can't, then keep in touch with them. Call them and catch up. The same applies to your buddies. Even if you're all hitched, try to get together every week. Go for a few beers or play a round of golf. Remember that you probably knew your friends before your girl came into the picture.
Know Thyself
5- Overcome Character Flaws
Each one of us has character flaws. Make a sincere effort to become aware of your habits, traits and overall personality. Listen to what your friends and family say about your behavior. Work on eliminating character weaknesses and enhancing your strong traits; for example, if your work ethic is lacking, resolve to put in a greater effort at work every day.
6- Mind Your Manners
The way you treat others through your words or actions reflects directly on you. You're a walking, talking billboard for yourself. So advertise your good manners. If you don't, people won't like you, won't want to hire you and won't want to date you. Practice the good manners that your parents (hopefully) instilled in you.
7- Do Your Own Thing
Do what you think is right for yourself, not what others think is right for you. In other words, follow your bliss. And don't compare yourself with others, especially in regards to material gain, or you'll likely feel inadequate. Take a chance on a career path you've always dreamed of, but never followed.
8- Operate With Integrity
A man of integrity puts his principles and moral ethics in front of pleasure and personal gain. Employers, colleagues and women all respect people of integrity. Practice keeping your word and doing what's right, instead of just what you want.
Set Your Sights
9- Meet Your Goals
From CEOs of companies to professional athletes, successful people all share a single powerful habit: The ability to set and accomplish goals. Without defined goals and a solid plan, your life will become a daily grind that provides little happiness and even less fulfillment. Start by writing down daily, weekly and monthly goals for yourself. Then resolve to meet them.
10- Kick Bad Habits
All of us have bad habits to varying degrees. Sooner or later, you'll suffer the consequences of them. Make a commitment to reduce and eliminate your bad habits. Pick one of your worst tendencies, like swearing or persistent tardiness, and tell your family and friends that you're working on cutting it out of your life. With them acting as watchdogs, you're more likely to kick it.
11- Keep A Youthful Outlook
Remember that you're only as old as you think you are. Maintain a youthful and fun lifestyle that stimulates your body and mind. Pursue fun and wild activities like white water rafting or parachuting. As long as you're feeling younger, why not get yourself a younger girlfriend?
12- Take Advantage Of Opportunities
Opportunities abound in life, but taking advantage of them often involves risk. Nothing great has ever been accomplished without great risk. Whether you have an opportunity to start your own business or date a girl who you think is out of your league, believe in yourself and strike while the iron is hot. Don't live with regret.
13- Master Patience
Patience and persistence breed success. Most great people fail more times than they succeed. So, learn to pause and relax when you feel impatient. Practice patience by babysitting for a friend or relative's child.
The Well-Rounded Man
14- Diversify Your Interests
Take up a new hobby or interest in order to expand your horizons and become a more well-rounded man. Make the effort to challenge yourself by developing a new skill, such as learning to speak a foreign language. Once you've done so, reward yourself with a trip to a foreign country to test your fluency.
15- Read More
Reading is the key to expanding your vocabulary and knowledge. Turn off the TV for an hour each day and pick up a book instead. Read inspirational books related to self-improvement or your career interest. Or read an entertaining book just for fun.
16- Exercise
Exercise is the key to looking and feeling younger. What you do is not as important as how much you do it. So make a commitment to incorporate some form of physical activity into your daily routine.
17- Get A Pet
Having a pet has been shown to greatly reduce stress and improve happiness. Furthermore, a pet is one of the best ways to learn about responsibility and commitment. This will help you prepare for marriage and eventual children.
Be Wise, Young Man
As you continue on your journey toward becoming a mature man, remember that one of the keys is to always maintain a positive outlook. A positive mental attitude about everything in your life will allow you to succeed where others have failed.
Well said and i believe it should not be just applied on men, instead women as well. Like i said, maturity is what i want from myself, i dont get to enjoy the age of 25 every year. Time wont stop, what's stopping you is yourself.
Nice blogging again.
Regards readers!!

Trapezius Muscle Pain

I've been having this for years, it's something torturing and suffering.

The trapezius muscle pain.

I've been to doctor and what he said was it could not be cured and i can only slow down the pain, but not cut off the pain. Years, for years it torturing me. Well, what should i said about it. Nothing. Just share an article i found and let readers understands about it more.

Cheers readers. =)

Your trapezius muscles are some of the first to bother you when you are under stress. They ache and burn from the base of your skull to between your shoulder blades. The good news is that they are relatively easy to massage.
When we are under stress, one of the first muscles to cause us pain is our trap muscles, and part of that reason is because of the nifty role they play in our movement. If you are in pain now, skip to the “How to Massage your Trapezius” section. If you want tips on relieving trapezius muscle pain through better movement and posture, go to Trapezius Exercises.
The trapezius is a broad triangular muscle which attaches to the base of the skull, and lies at the back of the neck, over the upper shoulders and extends down your upper back to your mid back. It is one of the most likely muscles to get sore knots or “trigger points”.
The trap muscles are the only muscles which can lift the outside of your shoulders to create a “shrug”. They move the head and neck toward the shoulder of the other side. The middle of the muscles pull the shoulder blades together, while the lower draw the shoulder blades downward. They support the weight of the arms.
Often these movements are at play when we are under stress, and doing the activities that cause stress.

Where do Trapezius Muscles cause Pain?

Back Pain from Trapezius in Neck and Shoulders   Back Pain in Trapezius near Head
Trap pain is classic stress pain. Your shoulders ache, your neck hurts and it is often deep and achy. You may have a headache, especially in the temples or behind your eyes or at the base of your skull. You may feel burning between your shoulder blades after sitting at your computer without elbow support.

What causes Trapezius Muscle Pain?

  • Stress. Stress. Stress. Relax those shoulders! One of the first, primary causes of trapezius strain is carrying your shoulders up near your ears. Remember to relax your shoulders.
  • Head forward posture. Often people, particularly people in the west, people in charge, forward-thinking people, or people who are planning/worrying about the future stand and sit with a head forward position. Remember to sit up straight, lower your shoulders and bring your head back. This relieves strain on the trapezius. You can also try some online yoga to improve your posture.
  • Holding a phone between your ear and shoulder. Get a headset.
  • Carrying a heavy purse or backpack. Ask yourself if everything you have is really necessary. Switch your purse from one shoulder to the next frequently. Carry your important stuff in a fanny pack. And don’t forget to do your stretches.
  • Bra straps that are too tight or the weight of heavy breasts pulling on your straps. Have your bra fit by a person trained to get a good fit. And remember to do your trap stretches.
  • Breastfeeding a baby with your shoulders hunched forward and the weight of the baby in your arms can cause trapezius muscle pain. Check your posture and bring your shoulders back. Do side-lying whenever possible. Support the baby on a pillow on your lap. Remind yourself to take a small break from gazing at your sweetie once in a while, to bring your head up and relax your shoulders.
  • Sleeping on your back or stomach with your head turned to one side. Change your sleeping position (easier said than done).
  • Any position where you head is turned to one side for a long time. Are you a teacher and you turn to look at the student next to you? Do you turn to see your computer screen?
  • Bending forward while working. Do you bend forward to work at a sewing machine or look down at your knitting? Do you bend forward when you type at the computer? Do you do beading? Sit up!
  • Too high keyboard. Get a keyboard shelf for your desk.
  • Working with no arm rests and the weight of your arms hang from your shoulders. Get a chair with arm rests. Put your hands in your pockets if you are standing for a long time. Support your arms to prevent trapezius muscle pain.
  • Whip lash. This just takes recovery time.
  • Playing violin, piano, backpacking, bike riding, or other activities which heavily rely on the trapezius muscles. Remember to stretch. Watch your posture. Take a break when you need your trap muscles to recover.

Trapezius Exercises

You can prevent and relieve pain in your trapezius muscles by exercising them. Exercise brings circulation to the muscles, and it relaxes them. Most importantly, if done correctly exercise will strengthen supporting muscles that support good posture. You can relieve a lot of muscle strain by using many muscles groups in a relaxed with, without overworking your traps.

Massaging your Trapezius Muscles

It’s easy to find your trapezius muscles.

Finding your trapezius muscle
The top of your trapezius muscle is one of the most common locations for shoulder tension.
This is the most likely place someone will massage you when they give you a neck massage, and it often needs it. It can be tender and sore and have spots which “hurt so good” to be pressed. It is not hard to find knots and ropes in this muscle.

How to Massage your Trapezius

The trapezius muscles are very likely to have tender knots or trigger points. Pressing on these points can help release the muscle and ease the pain from its strain. Use your good judgment–do not press so hard or long that you hurt yourself! This is about stress relief and not injury,
Triggerpoints for sore trapezius muscles
When you press on any of the areas shown in red, you are likely to find a tender area. Apply firm but gentle pressure for 10-30 seconds. Sometimes you will feel the muscle relax under your fingers.
These areas can be difficult to reach if you are trying to massage your own back. Here are some tricks to get to the sore spots!

Lying Down

Giving yourself a shoulder massage
Gving yourself a shoulder massage lying down
When you lie down, your trapezius muscle relaxes because it doesn’t need to hold the weight of your arms. Be sure to use a pillow that keeps your neck exactly in line with your spine, otherwise the trap may get stressed in this position.
Once you are lying down, just knead your muscles and press on any sore spots.

Tennis Ball

Self back massage with a tennis ball--placing the ball   Self back massage with tennis ball--trigger point pressure
Place a tennis ball (or hard rubber ball) under your trapezius one of the tender areas and lie on it.
Self back massage--trapezius massage close-up
You can control the location and pressure by moving your body.
Self massage techniques: using a tennis ball against a door frame   Self massage techniques: using a tennis ball against a door frame for trapezius massage
Another nice way to reach your trap muscles is to use the tennis ball against a door frame. This looks more awkward than it feels. It is really a very nice way to massage the tops of your shoulders.

Body Back Buddy

Body Back Buddy: massaging your trap muscles   The Body-Back-Buddy: Trapezius massage
The Body Back Buddy is a handy tool which can help you reach many unreachable pressure points. You can use it easily on any of the areas of trapezius muscle pain.
I also recommend online yoga classes to help correct your posture, stretch your muscles and relieve your back pain.

Fantasy Premier League 2012/13

Hell yeah, i'm playing this Fantasy Premier League 2012/13 now. To be frank, it's quite addictive. I felt like a gambler sitting in front of the screen watching football live while holding my mobile just to check the points of players i've choosen. lol. It turns out that i've got myself a not-bad result as ranking 3rd among my friends. Do you think that i'm kind of sexualism to said that i'm proud of being on the top 3 as the only female in the league? Just say. *smile*

Car of The Year Honor

Daddy's Hyundai Elantra 1.8 GLS had just got full set new bodykit + spoiler.
Nice job dad~
Okey. Here i am talking about cars again.

The South African Guild of Motoring Journalists in conjunction with Wesbank has awarded the Hyundai Elantra 1,8 GLS the SA Car of the Year prize for 2012. =)
The Elantra’s victory marks the first time a Korean car has won the SA Car of the Year award after the i20’s placement in the final round of the 2010 round of the competition and similar results for the ix35 and Sonata last year. The Elantra has also gained a considerable amount of good press abroad netting both the North American and Canadian Car of the Year gongs in 2012.
The Elantra’s blend of eye-catching design, solid build, generous equipment and competent road manners at a competitive price also saw it win the Best Compact Saloon award in our Top 12 Best Buys for 2012.

“We are extremely proud of the recognition that a world-class product such as the Hyundai Elantra has received from the South African Guild of Motoring Journalists,” said Alan Ross, managing director of Hyundai Automotive South Africa, after receiving the Car of the Year trophy.

“This award, and the fact that we had no less than two finalists in the previous competition, is confirmation of the giant strides that the Hyundai brand has made locally and globally. It is also recognition of the quality and emotional appeal that the Hyundai products have developed as part of the brand’s ‘Modern Premium’ strategy.”

Here's the road test of the Hyundai Elantra 1.8 GLS ::

IF you can’t remember much about the previous-generation Elantra, don’t rack your brain … it was hardly an exciting vehicle. And Hyundai knows this; at the launch of the new Elantra, the manufacturer admitted it did not sell well.
In the September 2007 road test of the discontinued model, in which we praised its perceived build quality, one of our testers was quoted caustically, “The Elantra does the job. Nothing less but nothing more.” After reviewing the new incarnation, some of our comments from that test remain but a number of fundamental ones have changed.
“We know that Hyundai changes its designs more often than many people buy new clothes, so maybe there is something better being penned as we write …” This prediction from the 2007 test has come to pass, as the new version is not only a huge step up from previous Elantras; it is now arguably the most stylish saloon in its class. Where once Korean vehicles bore scant relation to their stablemates, nowadays Hyundai has a signature design language infused in all its new products.
While we can heap loads of praise on the exterior appearance of the new Elantra, buyers of this class of vehicle place interior comfort, space, practicality and build quality above such frivolities as style and design.
When it comes to space, all CAR team members except our resident beanpole (who, at more than 1,9 metres in height, is hardly the size of an average South African) found ample leg- and headroom in the front and on the rear bench. Potential owners should also note that this Elantra offers one of the largest boot capacities in its segment – even with a 17-inch alloy under the boot board – with a cavernous 416 dm3 available with the rear seatbacks in place (and 1 072 dm3 with them folded flat).
As was the case with its predecessor, interior quality is impressive. The cabin features swathes of soft-touch material on the facia and doors that, when teamed with the leather-clad gearlever and silver trim along the facia and on the steering wheel, lend it a very classy feel. None of its traditional competitors come close.
The driving position should suit most shapes and sizes thanks to the generous range of adjustment available on the seat and steering column, while the steering-wheelmounted controls for the trip computer and the MP3/USB/iPod audio system add convenience. Thanks to the standard climate control and rain-sensing wipers, Cape Town’s temperamental weather proved no bother, while the rear park-distance sensors make it easy to park the Elantra without much risk of a bent fender.
Under the bonnet lies a 1,8-litre petrol engine that delivered another pleasant surprise. With 110 kW available at 6 500 r/min and 178 N.m of torque at 4 700 r/min, the Elantra is one of the most powerful vehicles in the 1,8- to 2,0-litre segment and this was borne out in the overtaking acceleration times we recorded. Advancing from 80 to 100 km/h in third gear takes just 4,03 seconds, allowing for fairly swift overtaking.
Lastly, the 1,8-litre’s smooth delivery and near-silent operation at low revs impressed. In fact, one tester commented that, if we were to measure the Elantra’s levels of noise, vibration and harshness against premium cars costing at least five times as much, the Korean would probably be quieter.
The absorbent suspension setup consists of MacPherson struts up front and a torsion-beam arrangement at the rear. It’s testament to the talents of the Hyundai engineers that the Elantra manages to ride comfortably and in a controlled manner despite this seemingly basic suspension layout.
Too many Korean vehicles that are burdened with light, lifeless steering pass through our hands, so initially we weren’t too optimistic about the Elantra’s helm … however, we soon found that the electric power-steering system provides just the right amount of feel and feedback.
The Elantra is very much a family car and, therefore, safety levels are paramount. In the event of a crash, there are six airbags that could deploy, while Isofix anchorages ensure that the smallest of the brood will be safely secured. Central-, auto-locking doors and keyless entry are also standard.
Unfortunately, this solid safety package is undermined by the brakes. We achieved an average time of 3,32 seconds in our 10-stop braking test, which gives the Elantra a “poor” rating. It is also disappointing to note the absence of an electronic stability system.
Total ownership cost, maintenance and overall value-formoney should prove to be a big drawcard of this vehicle. Thanks to a low fuel-consumption figure of 7,8 litres/100 km (CAR fuel index), the Elantra has an estimated range of 621 km before the next stop at the pumps. A real-world fuel test along CAR’s city/highway/countryroad saw the Elantra consume only 7,2 litres/100 km.
The Elantra is covered by a five-year/ 90 000 km service plan and five-year/150 000 km manufacturer’s warranty. Other than metallic paint, there are no option boxes to tick on this car’s specification sheet, so you get a lot of car for your money.
TEST SUMMARY
In the 2010 SA JD Power Initial Quality Survey, Hyundai ranked very closely behind the market favourite, Toyota; similar trends are emerging in international quality and reliability studies.
After the test phase was wrapped-up and we had our team discussion session, the CAR testers had to dig deep to find fault with this vehicle. The only serious criticisms concerned the marginal brakes (which could have been unique to this particular vehicle). and the lack of ESP. We have to give credit where it is due and, in this case, the Elantra deserves much praise. It’s a solid package that offers a long list of standard features and is practical, stylish and offers great value for money.
The Elantra is comfortably one of the best Hyundais we have tested and, as evidenced by the rivals panel on page 70 and its overall score of 79 out of 100, we would without hesitation choose it over its nearest competitors.

What an honor for Hyundai. Good Job.

Cheers readers.

Comb It !

Here am i, getting myself a center parted hairstyle.
Look weird? It lasted not more than a week. lol

We're all creatures of habits. We get comfortable with the way things are, and rarely do we stray. This can apply to, of all things, our hair parts. Once we become familiar with seeing our hair parted one way, wearing it any other angle makes us feel like a different person, or a least some bizarro version of ourself.

But the more we think about it, maybe it's a stealth way to attract attention to the more flattering side of your face. (According to Forbes and a begrudging Mariah Carey, it's the left)

One thing's for sure: It's an instant trick for updating your look. Something I found out when I decided to part my hair at the centre, a rarely-made shift from my everyday left part. And people at the office, no one could quite pinpoint the exact change at first. Some commented looked noob, some commented no difference, he commented that was not even close to center parted. lol.

Well, it's a nice experience i would said. lol
Did you found your suitable hair parts? Try it !

Ended up this post with few of my hairstyles. =)

When i was still in TARC.

When my 1st TARC reunion dinner.

When my boutique outdoor shooting.

When my 1st year in UTAR.

When my 2nd year in UTAR.

When i just cut my hair short.

 One of last year's photoshooting.

Which one suits me more? center-parted hair? =)
Cheers readers.

Love We Put Into Giving

We were on the newspaper, me and him. We went performing some songs at this Anning old folks home & orphan's home. We bought some foods & snacks, got some sponsorship from U & Me Bany Land donated boxes of adult diaper & Qi Yuan dimsum restaurant donated some foods for those poor grandpa grandma and kids. The youngest is only 2 1/2 years old. Pitiful.

For attractive lips, speak words of kindness.
For lovely eyes, week out the good in people.
For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.
For beautiful hair, let a child run their fingers through it once a day.
For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone.
People, more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed.
Remember, if you ever need a helping hand,
you will find one at the end of each of your arms.
As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands,
one for helping yourself and the other for helping others.

No one has ever become poor by giving. It's not how much we give, it's how much love we put into giving. Joy increases as you give it, and diminishes as you try to keep it yourself. In giving it, you will accumulate a deposit of joy greater than you ever believed possible.

Cheers readers.
Love life.

Knot that Ties

We have brought back a lil puppy on his birthday. It's a female Shih Tzu with 7 weeks old. We named her Ruby Qiu. She is the happiness in my life, my sweetheart. She tighten up our knots, bond us even more closer than ever. I've been much more closer to his family as well. Me and him, we spend our free time playing together with her, bring her evening walk, potty train her, teach her to behave. There are so much of the good time we get to spend together with Ruby Qiu, our new sweetheart, our new daughter, our new love.

Happiness is a warm puppy.

The first night she's with us, still very shy hiding under the pillow.

Daddy's best co-driver.

Sleeping on mummy house's sofa with her 4-legs wide opened.

Craving for mamak's fried chicken.

Sleeping beauty.

Lying like a baby on mummy's lap.

I'll ended up this post with a self-made storyline of my beloved Ruby vs my sister.

Cheers readers.

Dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than you love yourself.
