Drivers? You are not !

Driving.
I just cannot stand the way Malaysian drivers drive anymore.

The number of road accidents in Malaysia has increased steadily over the last three decades. How i know? It's according to a report by Free Malaysia Today, showing that the problem may be getting worse for Malaysian citizens. Some Malaysians are calling for major changes in the manner in which motoring offences are dealt, hoping that this will re-educate drivers for the better and encourage a more responsible attitude towards driving.

I'm very frustrated with those attitudes on road. Everyday i had to spend some of my 'quality' time in my car travelling, especially for work. But it seems like the drivers around aint helping at all. These days, i have monitored Malaysian drivers, especially Ipoh drivers when they are driving on the road. I personally think driving on the road brings a lot of pressure especially during peak hours. Pressure at work, pressure at road too.

Malaysian drivers who forever thinks they are fastest among all other drivers. This happens a lot on the highways. They will speed fast and try to scare anyone that is slower by highlighting or following very closely behind them. They are a threat to everybody. Slower drivers are forced to switch lane just to let them pass through. Malaysian drivers are likely high light whenever they like to do so. They just could not care if it has an effect on other drivers’. Apparently they just have that bad manner.

Malaysian drivers are not scared about being caught by the police for traffic offences and a lot of drivers tried to escape from it. Good drivers are usually watchful. They watch other road users cautiously, and expect their activities so as to keep away from misfortunes.

But somehow i feel that no matter how good a driver can be, he might involved into an accident due to others' mistake and carelessness. How will this happens? It is not just how careful you can be then you can escape from an accident. Like for example for what i've meet just few hours ago when i was on the way to McDonald with my Bay. Two lane stopped at the traffic light waiting for green to turn right. I was on the left lane and a van and green Proton Saga were on the right lane. And when the green light turned, when we turning right, they just dont care whether there is any car on their left and just turn to my lane. I can understand that they might worried their speed will make drivers behind them angry, but how about me on their left lane? Luckily they were not speeding, or else i'll be either lying on the grassland roadside or lying on the hospital.

The same goes to the drivers in highways. They just cannot stay at own lane perfectly. I mean when any curve roads or so, they need two lanes in order to complete it. They have totally neglected other drivers. And not to mentioned that their skill, TERUK (terrible). I've even meet worst. Lorry drivers, i mean, truckers, those 12 wheels or more wheels 'lorry'. They could just put a right signal and straightaway entering your lane without worrying his 'backside' will hit your car. They expecting you will stop for them. There was i, traffic jam, and the trailer was too long and i could not able to stop as i do not want to bear the risk of being hit by the car behind. I warned him and let him know that i need to pass-by first. But after two three times he continuously did that, he get frustrated and blocked my car, opened his door and spit on my car. How angry was i back then. I straightaway made a report. And i still can remember the number plate ACU9333. Just sharing to let readers to be aware of him next time on road.

It is recommended that drivers can change their attitude on the road so that they do not harm anyone. If Malaysian drivers do not change their bad habits, and continue their old attitudes, there will be a rise in fatal accidents, despite all the efforts done by all. Forever think that your vehicle as something that is unsafe and should be driven carefully and with accountability. By this approach, you can facilitate to reduce misfortune or not turn out to be the reason of one. I definitely dont want to witness another accident infront of me with the motorist lifted and dropped on the floor, no more reaction on him, i guess it is either he's died or he's fainted. And it all just happened infront of me where the motorist right overtaking me and being hit by the car coming out of a junction. Everything happened just in a second.

Out of sudden something flashes in my mind. Could it be the examiner's fault? i mean, the person who exam which person are qualified to get a license and which are not. Over the years from what i can see, it is almost 100% guaranteed to get the driving license. How many of you has a friend which failed in the test? None i guess, or most probably one in a million. *lol* I definitely hope government could do something to this. This is a very serious matter which involving human lifes. Anyway to end this post, there is some jokes about Malaysian driver's attitude i found.
